The Spectro-M/F-W is a Rotating Disc Electrode (RDE) Optical Emission Spectrometer for rapid spectrometric analysis of fuels and related fluids. It determines contaminants and additives (including sodium, potassium and vanadium) across fuel types from light distillates to heavy residuals and crude, providing results without sample preparation in approximately 30 seconds. Typical use cases include on-site analysis for fuel quality control, turbine fuel treatment decisions, and laboratory or trailer-based elemental screening in accordance with ASTM D6728.
