The InfraCal 2 TRANS-SP 405-2035 is a portable infrared oil-in-water and TPH analyzer for measuring oil in water, total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) in soil, and FOG in wastewater. The instrument performs solvent-extraction based spectroscopic infrared measurements using infrared-transparent solvents (for example tetrachloroethylene or S-316) deposited into a 10 mm quartz cuvette with a Teflon stopper to retain light-end volatile components. It is calibrated at the factory for specified TOG/TPH concentration ranges and is intended for use with EPA methods 413.2 and 418.1 and ASTM D7066-04 (as referenced).
