The InfraCal 2 Ethanol Blend Analyzer is a portable infrared analyzer for measuring percent ethanol in gasoline, providing quick, accurate on-site measurements for fuel terminals, laboratories and regulatory agencies. It measures ethanol blends across two ranges (0–20% and 70–100%) and returns results in under a minute using an ATR zinc selenide sample plate; samples are easily cleaned with a cloth and isopropyl alcohol. The instrument is designed for simple operation by non-technical personnel and for repeated single-purpose ethanol blend analysis in the field or laboratory.
