The FluidScan 1000 is a handheld infrared lubricant condition monitor designed to provide direct, on-site quantitative measurement of lubricant and grease condition and contamination. It uses a dedicated direct infrared spectrometer to measure parameters such as water, TAN, oxidation, TBN, glycol, soot and additive depletion for industrial and engine oils, and provides actionable results in about one minute from a single drop of sample. The unit is compact, portable, has no moving parts, and is supplied in a blue casing (part number 800-00134).
