The FDM 6001 is a portable, battery‑operated fuel dilution meter that directly measures percentage fuel dilution in engine oil for rapid field or laboratory testing. It uses a headspace sampling fang and a Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) vapor sensor to detect diesel, gasoline or jet fuel in oil and provides results in approximately one minute. Primary use cases include on‑site determination of fuel contamination in lubrication oil to support maintenance and diagnostic decisions.
