Corning Mediatech 500 mL Hinks TNM-FH Medium [+] L-glutamine lactalbumin hydrolysate, and yeastolate, [-] insect hemolymph 13-100-CV is a serum-free, chemically defined medium designed to support the growth of insect cells, particularly Sf9 and Sf21 cells. It is a modification of the original TNM-FH medium developed by T.D. Hinks at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. This medium is supplied without insect hemolymph, which eliminates a potential source of variability and contamination.
