The stirred nutsche filters from Buchi are the automated upgrade to the manual nutsche filters. Like the nutsche filters, these units are used for filtration as well as for solid phase peptide synthesis (SPPS), and can be equipped for fully automated processes. Stirrers are provided in glass-lined steel, Hastelloy® or stainless steel. The stirrer height can be adjusted pneumatically under full vacuum operation condition, enabling squeezing of the slurry.
